Whew! Joah has a very high tolerance for pain.  She was complaining last night about her head aching like hell.  So had a big doze of medz so we didn’t have coffee.  

It was a manic monday like any other monday.  Everyone was cranky and wanted to get some sleep but could not.  All of a sudden Jen, one of the few analysts who I closely work with asked for coffee ‘coz she couldn’t stand the way her head is going.  So off we go….

Jen decided to have dinner (lunch in our case) before having coffee so we headed to a nearby fast food chain .  I ordered a bowl of soup and a sausage sandwich. After the light meal we decided to walk at the next door Starbucks to grab our cup of coffee.  As usual I had my fave toffee nut latte hot.  Jen had her old time fave, the classic caramel macciato. For the two cups of coffee goes a pair of stickers for my planner. I am really excited to get a hold of the planner. After fin’ly seeing the planner in the flesh, Jen is now considering it…

2:50 PM Manila, Philippines

After the “long” weekend I’m back to my reality. I’m back pounding the keyboard while listening to the hum of the airconditioning unit in the office. Yes. I am alone in my cubicle and I’ve no one to talk to to.  Peole will start pouring in about  four or five hours. I’ve got lots of things to do…

Month end.  This makes the people in my office go crancky.  Everyone’s busy catching up with their deadlines.  Wekk that includes me, the reason why this early in the afternoon I am here wasting my time with nothing but work. Deadlines has to be met. 

I came all the way from the province you know.  I spent the Thanksgiving weekend with my family and now I am back in the corporate jungle. I seriously needed a cup of coffee….anyway I need to get back to work if I wanna keep my momentum going.  Will update a little later.

There was no need for a photo.  We had our fave toffee nut latte at the only store that’s open during the wee hours near our place. It’s 2 stickers more for me for my planner. Yey! I need 11 more to get myself a planner. 

What do I need a planner for anyway.  Joah pointed something that I don’t wanna think about at this time.  She said in no time I will be a QA lead and I would need it to remind me of my deliverables, meetings, to-do lists…<and the list is endless>. Well I applied for the position, I wanted to own it as early as now but I don’t wanna “count the chicks before the eggs hatch”.  Any way it’s a good motivation for me to really spent much on coffee. After all it the only vice I have other than gadgets.  

Next stop is my journey to iPad. Hmm…**excited***

Joah vowed to help me out complete the stickers for this years planner.  We have a very good reason to drink coffee.  It’s a manic like what I said in a previous post. It’s manic Monday because we rarely get the right amount of sleep, that is if we ever get to sleep at all. Joah barged in my cubicle to ask me to have coffee.  Nagkatinginan kami and we knew that our minds are aligned.  

Heading for Starbucks at Security Bank we found out that they’re already closed. We crossed Ayala Avenue to find the coffee shop at the corner of Paseo de Roxas. We looked around and found some pretty good looking tumblers and mugs with an “affordable” price.  The merchandise were good and they’re nice as gifts to special loved ones.  

We both love toffee nut latte so we got 2 grande sized coffee.  I like it when it’s hot and boi they served it really hot. For having 2 lattes earned my card 2 additional stickers.  I now have four.  Just 13 more to go.

Yes! It seems like the weekend just kissed me.  Time passed so fast I didn’t even notice it.  It’s Monday once again and I haven’t had much sleep.  I’ve made myself so busy with the koreanovelas that I forgot to sleep.  

With no sleep, I am about to face another night of working hard to ensure that I can support my family and my dreams. It’s another Monday, and like any others that preceded it, it’s gonna be a tough one…

In my interest to get the perfect planner for 2011 I have scanned Powerbooks, National Bookstore and other shoppes but nothing compared to the 2011 Starbucks Planner.  I liked the simplicity and the elegance.  

Last Saturday after seeing Act II of “The Nutcracker”, I took the courage to start the quest.

Yesterday I got my second sticker out of the seventeen that I have to complete to get the limited edition planner. I was suppose to see the latest Harry Potter flick but the movie house is just packed with people so i decided have coffee after an early dinner.  I had my fave Toffee Nut Latte.

Thanks to that Latte I have 2 stickers.  

The day was ruined by an email before I decided it’s over and I want to get off of work. So I went to the mall to satisfy the monster residing in my belly.  It’s been making a noise for hours.  After a sumptuous I checked out the schedule for HP7 but the movie house was packed with eager moviegoers like me so I decided I don’t want to join them.  went back to the mall’s atrium to find out that they’re having a show It ‘s the Nutcracker! 

The show was good.  I wasn’t expecting much but I was entertained. 

Moving forward…being awake for more than 24 hours wasn’t something in my itinerary so I felt the bed dragging me.  I might fell off the stairs if I’m not going to do something about it so I went to Starbucks to get myself some coffee fix.  The thing is, Starbucks is as packed as the movie house! Disappointed and sleepy I was about to go home when I realized there’s a Starbucks nearby at 6780.  My feet knew where they’re going.  Last thing I know I was being asked If I am collecting stamps for their traditional planner and I just said “I wanna start.”

I am about to close the day again without having much accomplishment.  I was able to review 9 calls in an 8-hour shift, became a “sponge” for an emotionally unstable friend, and ate a specially prepared pasta from Joah Anne…

I’m tired, starving and sleepy.  Time to pack up and hit the sack.  G’nyt!

Why is it that everytime I make plans to be productive something has to e difficult?! After racing through traffric jam on the evening rush hour last night I was in the mood to be productive. I was remarkable.After having dinner everything crashed! 

I lost my momentum when I the monitoring tool crashed and it seemed like forever.  I was supposed to be packing and heading home by three and yet the sun’s up and I am still lounging in my frozen workstation.  Oh boi! tonight’s another night.  I gotta be productive this time.  I am not planning.

After helpng out Joah get her planner, I thought I needed one too to plan my year. I mean 2010 was a year of whirlwind events that rocked my dormant call center life. I guess my planning didn’t work for the year.  I did not anticipate the force majure. Well, who could anyway.  That’s why it’s called an accident.

Well anyway, I feel that 2011 is going to be a very good year.  I need that planner so I can work my year and document my success. I’m now rooting for the Starbucks planner after carefully evaluating the ones available in Powerbooks and National Bookstore! I kinda liked the one Coffee Bean is offering but it’s too darn expensive! I need to collect more stickers which would mean I have to spend more! 2011 Starbucks Planner you gotta wait for me…
